Middle School STEaM &

Classroom Additions

Fully Completed Project Date: June 2020

STEM careers are growing 2.5 times faster than the non-STEM average in New York State, with those working in STEM careers earning almost twice the average for all workers in the State. Due to the rigor of STEM fields of study at the postsecondary level, it is critical to expose students to these areas early in their educational career. It is an economic imperative that New York students have the supports to master the skills they need to succeed.

The district wants to provide hands on STEAM experiences that mirror current developing STEAM careers.  These include coding, computer science, robotics, science experiments, cross-curricular problem solving, etc.

  • The STEaM addition is an open concept hands on environment with opportunities for all styles of collaboration.

  • 2nd floor houses two new classrooms which will allow CRCS to provide all students their educational programing needed for them to be successful.
